Asees began her musical journey at the age of five, learning Gurbani under the guidance of her father, Harjinder Singh. She later trained under Ustad Puran Shahkoti in Jalandhar. Her early exposure to traditional music laid the foundation for her playback singing career. Asees participated in various singing reality shows, including Indian Idol and Awaz Punjab Di, which helped her gain recognition in the music industry.

Asees made her Bollywood debut with the song “Dildara Reprise” from the film Tamanchey. Personal Life
On June 18, 2023, Asees married Punjabi music composer Goldie Sohel in a ceremony held at a Gurudwara in Mumbai. In June 2024, they welcomed their first child on World Music Day.
